The engraved one-piece case with white enamel Roman dial (chips to corners), alarm ring below (repainted chapters), blued trefoil hands with sweep centre seconds, solid rear door with loop handle, foliate engraved gilt platform with lever escapement and steel bats' wing balance (replaced), strike/repeat/alarm on bell -- 6in. (15cm.) high
