The one-piece case engraved with foliate scrolls against a reeded ground, , the handle issuing from lion mask mounts, plain solid rear door, white enamel Roman dial with rubbed signature, steel moon hands (hour replaced), early platform lever escapement and strike on bell -- 5¾in. (15cm.) high
