The case with spire finials to the moulded stepped top and ringed columns to the angles, with japonaiserie two-tone panels to the sides decorated with birds amidst bamboo, conforming decoration to the mask of the brass chapter ring with painted Roman numerals, on bun feet, the twin barrel movement with strike on gong, stamped A B on the backplate -- 13¾in.
