The case of typical form with pierced frets to the bellstand surmounted by an urn finial, 3/4in. (2cm.) wide steel chapter ring engraved to the centre with flowers, leaves, scrolls and a face, steel hoop and spurs for wall mounting to the rear, the reconverted escapement with large steel balance wheel and verge escapement, countwheel strike on bell above -- 16in. (41cm.) high
