The hood with swan neck pediment and outset fluted columns, with square top cross-banded trunk door, on plain plinth with bracket feet, the 11½in. (29cm.) square white dial painted with Greeek key and bird nest spandrels, with subsidiary seconds ring and date aperture to the centre signed R. Summerhays Ilminster, with falseplate stamped WALKER to the four pillar rack striking movement with anchor escapement -- 80¾in. (205cm.) high
