signed on the back plate J. LANCASTER & SON, BIRMINGHAM, with rack and pinion focusing and lens dust cap, on alt-azimuth trunnion mounting and mahogany tripod, with three eyepieces and other accessories, with ivorine label for A. Clarkson & Co., 63 Farringdon Road, London EC, in fitted mahogany case -- 47 3/8in. (120.3cm.) long, and a letter dated May 5th 1913 to a Mrs. Norton of Uplands, Fareham, Hampshire, from Broadhurst, Clarkson & Co., detailing modifications to the telescope including supplying of new eyepieces with instructions on their use
