signed on the stand J.H. STEWARD, 54 Cornhill, London, with rack and pinion focusing, mechanical stage, sub-stage condenser, concave mirror, with bull's-eye condenser, two eyepieces, two objectives, frog plate and live-box, in mahogany case -- 15 3/8in. (39.4cm.) high; a monocular microscope by Reichert; and another continental microscope (both other instruments heavily polished)
