painted and gilt with shaped panels of ladies on a seashore, retreats in a river landscape and a ho-o in flight, all on a ground of swirling bands of butterflies in flight and scattered flowerheads, the interior with further butterflies and overlapping floral panels -- 11¼in. (9.5cm.) diam, signed Furuyama (Kozan), (minor gilt and enamel rubbing.)
