An Imperial tripod globular koro and cover
with confronting phoenix finial, painted and gilt with blossoming prunus and chrysanthems issuing from rockwork below a geometric pattern collar -- 6in. (15.2cms) high, signed, (cover broken and restuck, one handle broken off); a pair of quatrefoil vases with shishi lion handles, decorated with warriors and further figures on riverbanks before pavilions -- 9½in. (24cms) high, signed Hattori sei, (end of one tail chipped off); a blue ground globular vase decorated with bijin below wisteria and on a riverbank strewn with irises -- 7¾in. (19.8cms) high, signed Kusube; and a small tripod vase with flaring neck decorated with rakan and figures in river landscapes -- 3¾in. (9.6cms) high, (damages).
