A pair of tapering baluster vases
painted and gilt with ladies and children at leisure on riverbanks before pagodas and pavilions, all below geometric collars to the shoulders -- 9½in. (24cm.) high; and a compressed globular bowl similarly decorated around the exterior, the interior with three goldfish -- 12¼in. (31cm.) wide, all signed Shizan, (some gilt and enamel rubbing).
