and cover with short spout and wicker handle, painted and gilt with ladies and children at leisure on terraces and warriors in rocky landscapes -- 1½in. (3.7cm.) high, signed Gyokusen; and a further kettle and cover decorated with ladies walking through flower strewn gardens -- 1¾in. (4.5cm.) high, signature rubbed, (some gilt and enamel rubbing.)
