One album containing mainly views and portrait studies around India and Ceylon including group portraits of 'Tamil coolies', Singhalese Buddhist priests and another image of Buddhist priests in a procession, tea pickers, individual portraits of Tamil girls and a Kandyan chief; fruit, flower and tree studies; views around Kandy including a study of the Temple of the Tooth; views around Calcutta, Benares, Lucknow, Cawnpore, Delhi and Agra including views of the Taj Mahal and a few small portraits of Indian 'types'. The other album includes views around New York, San Francisco, Colorado and Chicago, of government buildings around Shanghai; two of Hong Kong harbour; a group portrait of women in the cangue, another of two men being pushed in a wheelbarrow, tree studies in Singapore and a still-life of fruit.
