Album of twelve albumen prints, each approx. 8 x 9¾ in., mounted one-per-page with printed title label, front free end paper with title label and credit From negatives taken by A. E. Orr, Esquire, Asst. Engr., P.W.D., cloth-backed boards with similar label on front cover, oblong sm. 4to.; with a mounted composite albumen print of eight portraits titled Limond's Gap in the negative, attached cover sheet addressed to Mr. Orr in ink, with printed list of sitters and date With Colonel Le Messurier's compliments. Lot Essay

A topographical album showing the route taken by the road which is under construction, the Public Works Department's temporary huts and offices and two views of the Ghazi Khan's tomb at mile eight of the new road. Orr joined the Public Works Department in 1883 and was stationed in Dehra Ghazi Khan Division in 1890.
