decorated in hiramakie, takamakie and kirigane with a recumbent boar asleep amongst foliage on a nashiji ground, the interiors in nashiji -- 3in. (7.6cm) high, 18th Century, (minor chips, rubbing); and an attached ivory netsuke of a recumbent karashishi on a bed of leaves, horn inset eyes -- 1 7/8in. (4.8cm) wide, 18th Century, (minor hairline cracks); attached plain ivory bead ojime.
