A set of twelve Chinese ricepaper paintings
depicting ladies and officials seated in interiors beside attendants, variously bringing tea, a hat, bow and pipe, carrying dishes of fruit and in conversation -- each 10½in. x 7in. (26.6cms x 17.8cms); a ricepaper album depicting the life of a Chinese man -- each leaf 8in. x 13in. (20.3cms x 33cms), inscribed to the cover leaf 'rapporte de Chine par Emile de Wykersbooth en 1865 lors de son voyage avec le Duc de Brabant; and a further ricepaper album with each leaf divided into three sections depicting officials, ladies and torture scenes -- each leaf 12in. x 7½in. (30.5cms x 19cms), (some foxing and damages).
