standing four square with its head raised and tail forming the angular handle, painted in coloured enamels with Buddhistic lion roundels and scattered precious objects on a scale pattern ground, the head decorated with scrolling foliage -- 5½in. (14cm.) high, signed on the inside of the cover Kozan sei, (cover restored.)
