A CYPRIOT WHITE PAINTED WARE POTTERY JUG, the round body with an encircling dark brown painted band and parallel lines, further lines around rim and neck, bands across the handle; another jug, similar, with pinched rim -- 7¾ in. (19.6 cm.) and 8 in. (20.3 cm.) high respectively; a bichrome ware pottery bowl, with ring base, the vertical sides decorated on interior and exterior with encircling lines and bands, the exterior with a central panel on either side framed by vertical lines containing two dot and cross motifs, dark painted bands over twin loop handles, repaired base -- 3½ in. (8.8 cm.) high, 5¾ in. (14.6 cm.) diam.; another bowl, the shouldered body with everted rim, the interior with dark painted concentric circles around the interior -- 2½ in. (6.4 cm.) high, all Iron Age, early 1st millennium B.C.; a pottery spindle whorl of conical form, traces of red glaze, with incised geometric decoration -- 1 5/8 in. (4.1 cm.) high, Middle Bronze Age (1900-1650 B.C.); and two pottery flasks, one with pinched lip, handle and dark painted body -- 5 in. (12.6 cm.) and 6¾ in. (17.1 cm.) high respectively (7)
