A 4-inch (10cm.) diameter terrestrial miniature table globe, made up of twelve colour printed gores and one polar calotte (Southern calotte lacking), the equatorial graduated in degrees, no ecliptic shown, the continents coloured and outlined, the oceans showing the currents (some surface abrasion with loss of image, gore ends worn at South pole), on turned ebonised column and plinth, with inset compass -- 7in. (18cm.) high
