NEWTON'S New & Improved TERRESTRIAL GLOBE Published by Newton & Son 66 Chancery Lane. & 3 Fleet St, Temple Bar.
A 3-inch (7.6cm.) diameter terrestrial pocket globe, made up of twelve hand coloured engraved paper gores, the equatorial graduated in degrees, the ecliptic graduated in days and showing the symbols of the houses of the zodiac, Europe outlined in red, the continents coloured in outline, the oceans showing the tracks of Captain Cook's and Clark and Gore's voyages,(the varnish a little chipped, small area discoloured at poles), with metal axis pins, in turned wooden case with "acorn" cover (crack to cover)
