A 14½-inch (37cm.) diameter terrestrial table globe, made up of twelve colour printed gores and two polar calottes, the equatorial graduated in degrees, the ecliptic ungraduated, the countries coloured and outlined, and marked with minerals and crops indicated by key, the oceans showing currents, shipping routes and times (e.g. Buenos-Aires-Hamburg 23Tg), and the route of the first zeppelin flight to America (1. Amerikafahrt des L.Z. 127 "Graf Zeppelin") in red, with brass half meridian ring divided into two quadrants on stepped wooden column and plinth with inset compass -- 25¾in. (65.5cm.) high
