A 12-inch (30.5cm.) diameter terrestrial table globe, made up of twelve colour printed gores, the equatorial graduated in degrees and days, the ecliptic graduated in days and showing the symbols of the houses of the zodiac, the countries coloured, Eire labelled IRISH FREE STATE, Israel not shown, the Arctic marked UNEXPLORED REGION, an analemma shown (some neat restoration), with brass meridian ring divided into four quadrants, the unusual colour printed horizon ring with 45° chamfer, divided 1-180° twice, with sectional diagram showing the relative heights of mountain ranges and summits, sectional diagrams showing ocean depths at 10° S. Lat, 30° N. Lat. and 40° N. Lat., and scales of English statute miles and kilometers (some restoration), mounted on four quadrants on turned column and plinth with foliate decoration -- 24½in. (62.3cm.) high
