Applied with gilt-metal mounts, decorated with cross bandings, the superstructure surmounted by a cherub draping floral garlands perched above a circular time-piece movement with five short drawers below, with a burgundy leather lined sliding writing surface flanked to one side by a candle branch, with a shaped apron fitted with three frieze drawers, on cabriole legs terminating in gilt sabots, one drawer stamped Duc de Cuciava, one candle branch missing
