Of broken outline, in the Chinese taste, decorated overall with meandering borders, applied with foliate decorated brass mounts, enclosed by two doors depicting Oriental courtly figures in a landscape of trees and bolders, the sides decorated with flower-filled urns above a shaped apron, on tapering feet, bearing a paper label inscribed in ink Antique Chinese c.1700
