A late 19th-Century small full size single cylinder vertical stationary engine,
probably built from Martin castings, with mahogany lagged brass bound cylinder 2in. bore x 3in. stroke, draincocks, studded stuffing boxes, frame incorporated slipper type crosshead guides, crankshaft bearings with wick-type oil pots and brass disc flywheel, finished in green and polished brightwork (restored), cast bed -- 21½ x 10in. (54.5 x 25.5cm.)
