A finely engineered, mainly brass, model single cylinder centre pillar beam engine,
with cylinder 1 1/8in. bore x 2½in. stroke, inward facing centrally mounted valve chest, drain cock and pipe, barrelled valve rods, studded stuffing boxes, parallel motion with decorative, gibbed and wedged drop links, rod driven feed pump, barrelled fluted connecting rod with gibbed and wedged big and little ends, webbed crank, gear driven Watt-type governor, linkage and valve, gear driven countershaft and multi-rope pulley and spoked flywheel, finished in green, red and polished brightwork, cast bed and wood plinth -- 13 x 17¼in. (33 x 43.8cm.)
