A well engineered single cylinder reversing stationary engine,
built by E. Lynn, with cylinder 1 3/8in. bore x 2¼in. stroke, inlet manifold with displacement lubricator and governor valve, draincocks, piston valve with slip eccentric reverse, studded piston rod stuffing box, bar type crosshead guides, counterbalanced crankshaft with eccentric and rocking lever operated feed pump and bypass valve, curved spoked flywheel and 'V' belt pulley and rope driven governor, finished in blue black and polished brightwork, metal bed and wood plinth -- 11¼ x 18½in. (28.5 x 47cm.)
