A well engineered 2in. scale model of a Fowler Class BB1 double crank compound Ploughing Engine,
with brazed and riveted copper boiler with water and pressure gauges, safety, blower, whistle, injector, waterlift, and clack valves. Engine details include cylinders 1¼ and 1¾in bores x 2in. stroke, footplate controlled draincocks and pipework, displacement and mechanical lubricators, Stephenson's link reverse, bolted and strapped big ends, counterbalanced crankshaft, eccentric driven feed pump with shut-off and bleed cocks, crownwheel and pinion drive to winch drum with clutch, two road speeds and spoked flywheel. Chassis details include worm and roller chain and rod steering, spoked, straked wheels, tool boxes, injector, water lift, footplate controlled damper, cable drum, cable and fairleads, footboard and motion drip tray, and many other details, finished in black, green and red -- 20¼ x 45in. (51.5 x 114.5cm.)
