The 76 numbers of the Indicator were originally published October 13, 1819, to March 21, 1821. In this copy, nos. 25-76 are FIRST EDITIONS, nos. 6-24 second editions, nos. 2-5 third editions, and no. 1 fourth edition. An index to the last 24 numbers is included (this is not found in copies of the magazine with the 1821 title page). Keats, Shelley and Lamb were contributors. The most interesting contribution is perhaps in issue no. 31, p. 248: the first printing of Keats' "La Belle Dame sans Merci", signed "Caviare." The issue for September 20, 1820, is an article on the departure of Keats for Italy.
