A Shibayama style ceremonial ivory katana
inlaid in mother-of-pearl, horn, stained ivory, wood and coral with a hanging basket of flowers above cranes and doves among flowering chrysanthemums, prunus, wisteria and berries, the steel blade incised with coiled dragons -- 37½.in (95.3cm) long, (some inlay missing, wear and rust to blade).
