A Chinese export ivory circular box and cover
carved with a central coat of arms and the motto "Veritas Vincit Omnia" below the wing and leg of an eagle, within two bands of figures in gardens among trees and buildings and floral borders, the underside similarly carved -- 3½.in (8.9cm) diam, early 19th Century, (two small chips).
