A pair of Imari baluster jars
painted and gilt with shaped panels of ho-o in flight above peonies attached to canes, all within floral cartouches with hanging bows and tassels on dense floral grounds, the shoulders with lappet panels of peonies and leaves -- 12½in. (32.2cm.) high, circa 1700, (covers missing, minor gilt and enamel rubbing.)
