with foliate rim and moulded flowerheads to the exterior, painted and gilt to the interior with a butterfly among scattered sprays of peonies, lotus and further flowers within a stylised foliate border -- 9 1/8in. (23.2cms) wide, 18th century, (one handle broken and restuck).
