A Ming blue and white broad baluster jar
with short neck and foot, painted with a broad band of stags and cranes amongst pine and rockwork in a fenced garden, the shoulder with a band of further cranes and guei dragons amongst cloud scrolls, the foot with a band of stiff leaves -- 12½in. (31.7cm.) high, (cracked and with some restoration to foot.)
