painted in underglaze blue, coloured enamels and gilt with dragons chasing flaming pearls among cloud scrolls above foaming waves, below a band of trellis and flowerheads design, the interior with bats flanking a central shou character -- 5¼in. (13.4cms) diam, underglaz blue Guangxu six character mark and of the period.
