A set of ten Chinese buff pottery models of equestrian musicians
five figures seated on dappled horses wearing tunics and high hats, the others on white horses wearing tunics and hoods, variously playing flutes and drums, the horses standing with their heads turned to their left, decorated in white, red and black pigments -- all approx. 12½in. (31.7cms) high, Tang Dynasty, (some restoration and old wear).
