A set of twelve famille rose joss stick holders modelled as zodiac groups
each with a figure standing holding a circular plaque with symbol representing one of the twelve earthly branches, the twelve animals of the zodiac modelled before them, a rat, an ox, a tiger, a rabbit, a dragon, a snake, a horse, a goat, a monkey, a cockerel, a dog and a pig, the figures variously wearing tabbed hats, tunics and long flowing robes, decorated with cloud scrolls and their respective zodiac animal, set on turquoise glazed square bases with canted corners -- all approx. 5¼in. (13.3cms) high, fitted wood stands carved with scrolling lotus, Jiaqing, (one figure with head broken and restuck, tiger's tail broke and restuck, rabbit's ear broken and restored, some with firing flaws, slight rubbing and wear, some stands with minor damage).
