of rectangular secction, the hinged cover carved in low relief with four foliate sprays representing the Four Seasons, cover and sides inset with oval panels enamelled in gilt and brown with scantily clad maidens in reclining in various seasonal landscapes, enamelled panels signed C. Berdin and dated 1914 -- 23.5cm. diam.
