Punkinhead was made exclusively as the mascot for Eaton's department store in Toronto. He became the hero of several storybooks, as well as the leader of the annual Santa Claus parade.

with brown mohair, golden mohair inner ears and chest, large clear and black glass eyes painted white on reverse, velvet cut muzzle, Mohican-style scalp lock of white mohair, black stitched smiling mouth and nose, swivel head, jointed limbs, brown felt pads, beige velvet feet, original felt shorts and label stitched to left foot pad --15in. (38.5cm.) tall, circa 1950 (small repair to foot pads)
