The 'P.C' referred to was Princess Caroline Elizabeth, the third daughter of King George II. She was born at Herrenhausen on 10th June, 1713, Julian Calendar (21st. June, Gregorian Calendar) and died at St. James's Palace on December 28th 1757, in her 45th year.
