With single-edged blade back-edged towards the point, the hilt with short silver quillons each with baluster finial, slender reversable ebony grip (cracked) swelling into a spirally fluted knob-shaped pommel and spirally bound with a silver ribbon, and original shagreen-covered wooden scabbard with reeded silver mounts (scabbard and mounts damaged)
