With etched browned barrels of unusually elaborate twist pattern, case-hardened patent breeches with four gold lines, long blued tang finely engraved with running scrollwork, signed finely engraved case-hardened locks, finely figured walnut half-stock, chequered grip, finely engraved blued iron mounts, original steel-tipped ramrod, and nearly all its original finish: in contemporary lined and fitted mahogany case with accessories, the lid with trade label of R. Watmough, 13 Blackfriars Street, Manchester, Birmingham proof marks
