With rebrowned twist barrel signed in full on the full-length top flat at the breech and engraved 'Patent No. 558. Gauge 451.', retained by two steel barrel bands, and fitted with two hooded windage adjustable fore-sights, one with spirit level, folding back-sight calibrated to 1200 yards, scroll engraved breech and tang, engraved platinum plug, signed scroll engraved lock signed 'Joseph Brazier' on the inside, and with safety-catch in front of the hammer (mainspring broken), finely figured walnut full stock with folding adjustable peep-sight, chequered pistol-grip and fore-end, the former with chequered extension, scroll engraved steel mounts including trigger-guard and hinged circular patch-box cover, chequered trigger, adjustable leather-covered cheek-pad stamped 'Henry's Patent Elevator No. 86' in gilt letters, silver escutcheon, iron sling mounts, and original bronze-tipped iron ramrod, the heel of the butt originally drilled for a further long-range sight (small patches of minor pitting)
