A Cased 15-Bore D.B. Percussion Sporting Rifle

With rebrowned twist barrels signed on the rib and rifled with nine grooves, blued folding adjustable peep-sight calibrated to 500 yards, engraved case-hardened patent breeches with two gold lines and pierced platinum plugs, scroll engraved case-hardened tang and signed bolted locks, highly figured walnut half-stock, chequered grip and fore-end, scroll engraved blued steel mounts, case-hardened trigger-plate engraved with a lion's mask on the finial, silver escutcheon, original brass-tipped ramrod, and nearly all its original finish apart from the barrels: in original lined and fitted brass-bound mahogany case with numerous accessories including Sykes leather-covered flask and extra engraved case-hardened hammers, the lid with trade label (lining and label stained), and flush-fitting brass carrying handle with central escutcheon, London proof marks
