With belled two-stage brass barrel, the breech of octagonal section with a slotted ramp and struck with London proof marks and indistinct barrelsmith's mark, iron tang, rounded lock originally retained by three screws, traces of signature and strawberry engraving (associated steel detached), walnut full stock, brass mounts including trigger-guard with acorn finial, and brass-tipped ramrod
