An Unusual 14-Bore Flintlock Rifled Carbine

With rebrowned twist sighted barrel rifled with seven grooves, signed patent breech with platinum-lined touch-hole, engraved tang, signed foliate engraved bolted lock with roller and raised pan (cock and cock-retaining screw replaced), figured walnut full stock, chequered grip, white metal mounts engraved with flowers, foliage, and trophies including trigger-guard with pineapple finial, and butt-plate decorated with a stag and incorporating a hinged butt-trap cover, white metal escutcheon, and stirrup ramrod (chipped)
