With twist sighted barrels engraved with maker's address on the top flat, scroll engraved case-hardened patent breeches each with gold line, scroll engraved tangs each incorporating the back-sight, signed scroll engraved back-action locks each with engraved safety-catch (mainsprings removed), figured walnut full stocks each inset opposite the lock with a silver plaque engraved 'Given by the Officers to the best Marksman in the Arundel and Bramber Corps of Yeomanry Cavalry. 2nd June, 1836.', chequered butts (one repaired), engraved blued iron mounts, white-metal escutcheons, stirrup ramrods, and traces of original finish, London proof marks
