A Rare Cased Pair Of 50-Bore Pellet-Lock Duelling Pistols

With heavy highly swamped rebrowned twist octagonal sighted barrels each engraved with address on the top flat, silver fore-sights, case-hardened patent breeches each with platinum line, platinum-lined maker's stamp, and pierced platinum plug, scroll engraved case-hardened tangs each incorporating the back-sight, signed engraved case-hardened detented locks each with blued safety-catch, figured walnut half-stocks, chequered butts (one repaired), gold escutcheons engraved with coronet, arms amd motto, engraved blued iron mounts including trigger-plates each with pineapple finial, horn fore-end caps, original brass-mounted ramrods, and much original finish: in original lined and fitted mahogany case (slight damage, central partition loose) with accessories, the lid with trade label, flush-fitting carrying handle, and circular escutcheon
