With blued octagonal sighted barrel, the top-strap engraved with foliage and with (later?) retailer's name and address 'Robert Jones, No. 3 Great Howard St., Liverpool', case-hardened cylinder, bright patent rammer, blued scroll engraved frame and trigger-guard, blued safety-stop (partly replaced), arbor pin and arbor pin catch, chequered walnut butt, engraved case-hardened butt-cap, and most of its original finish (barrel flaked): in lined and fitted mahogany case with accessories including Dixon flask and serial numbered brass bullet mould, the lid with trade label of Robert Jones, Gun & Pistol Manufacturer, Liverpool, Birmingham proof marks
