With short turn-off barrels numbered 2 and 3, and each engraved with a band of ropework at the muzzle and signed on two ribbons, rounded actions engraved with scrolling foliage terminating in monster-heads, raised pans, rollers, engraved thumbpiece safety-catches also locking the steels, rounded chequered walnut butts, and shaped silver escutcheons engraved with owner's initials 'JC', London proof marks
