With three-stage cannon barrel, the breech signed and engraved with a band of foliage, finely engraved tang, border engraved action, engraved sliding trigger-guard safety-catch, figured walnut butt carved in relief at the barrel tang, and silver mounts comprising trophy of arms side-plate and escutcheon, the latter enraved with crest and motto, and grotesque mask butt-cap, in fine condition throughout, London proof marks with Foreigner's mark, silver maker's mark JA
